The new venture, which is being operated from A. Duie Pyle's Carteret, NJ, Service Center, involves the shipment of goods from Port Elizabeth, NJ, to the Caribbean. "The goal is to provide a single source solution for shippers, giving them basically 'door-to-door' delivery," said Steve O'Kane, A. Duie Pyle President.

 
The new Caribbean service covers next-day inland ground transportation, container loading and drayage, ocean transport, and island delivery.  "We'll continue our tradition of being the most predictable LTL carrier, as we bring the same level of on-time performance and low claims to our shipments outside the U.S.," O'Kane added.
