MGM Transport Names Tennen North East Regional Sales Manager

High Point, NC — MGM Transport Corp., a division of the Furniture Transport Group, recently announced that Larry Tennen has been named North East Regional Sales Manager.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce that Larry Tennen has joined the MGM sales team,” said MGM Executive Vice President Louis Massood. “Well respected and very well liked throughout the home furnishings industry, Larry brings a breadth of experience as a sales representative that will undoubtedly help MGM exceed its sales goals in the North East region.”

Tennen holds a bachelor of science in Accounting from the University of Vermont.  He began his career in the furniture industry immediately upon graduation from college when he joined his family’s business, a furniture store in Newark, N.J.  He then began a 30-year career as a self-employed furniture sales executive, representing various furniture manufactures including Thomasville, Bernhardt, American Drew and Blackhawk & Singer in the New York/New Jersey region. 

“With his knowledge of our industry and his outgoing personality, I am confident Larry will be a great asset to our organization,” added Massood.
