Dart Transit Company announces Contractors of the Month

Eagan, Minnesota – Dart Transit Company announces its August 2007 Contractors of the Month:  Robert Doom at the Dallas Operating Center and Bill Lane at the Eagan Operating Center.  Contractors of the Month are recognized for their on-time performance, dependability, and safety record.

Robert Doom has been in the trucking industry 47 years and has contracted with Dart since 1992.  Doom owns and operates a 2004 Freightliner with a Dart “National” contract.  “It’s an honor to be Contractor of the Month,” Doom said.  “I didn’t know I was nominated.”

Bill Lane has contracted with Dart for 17 of his 35 years in the trucking industry.  Lane owns and operates a 2007 Kenworth with a Dart “Dedicated” contract.  “Dart’s been a good company,” Lane said.  “It feels good to be Contractor of the Month.”

Dart Contractors of the Month receive certificates and gifts from Dart’s “Pro Shop.”  Dart Contractors of the Year are selected from its Contractors of the Month.
