Dart Transit Company announces Contractors of the Month

Eagan, Minnesota – Dart Transit Company announces its July 2007 Contractors of the Month:  Fredrick Campbell at the Dallas Operating Center and Jerry Lamb at the Eagan Operating Center.  Contractors of the Month are recognized for their on-time performance, dependability, and safety record.

Fredrick Campbell has been in the trucking industry 11 years and has contracted with Dart since 2001.  Campbell owns and operates a 1999 Freightliner with a Dart “National” contract.  “A friend of mine kept telling me to be an owner operator, but I kept holding out,” Campbell said.  “Finally, I just decided to try something different and gave Dart a chance.  Now I make my own decisions and control my own trucking business.”

Jerry Lamb has contracted with Dart for 17 of his 30 years in the trucking industry.  Lamb owns and operates a 1995 Freightliner with a Dart “National” contract.  “Dart is like family,” Lamb said.  “It’s a good fit.  I do my work and Dart lets me.”

Dart Contractors of the Month receive certificates and gifts from Dart’s “Pro Shop.”  Dart Contractors of the Year are selected from its Contractors of the Month.
