Wisconsin truck driving school puts safety on
map and some of America’s best drivers on the road.
MARSHFIELD, WI—The Roehl Driver Training Center (RDTC) in Marshfield, WI lays claim to turning out some of the safest, most successful over-the-road drivers on American highways. RDTC guides graduates through smaller class sizes and a relentless focus on safety. That commitment to drivers makes their graduates sought after in the industry.
The intense three-week program prepares students to test for a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and provides an opportunity to drive for Roehl Transport, a company known for its ability to deliver fleets with consistently high safety ratings.
“There needed to be a place where drivers could go to experience a higher standard of safety, so we started our own. Safety is our cornerstone value,” explains Roehl Vice President of Safety John Spiros. “For Roehl, superior safety and service start with our drivers…RDTC’s drivers are second to none.”
Every year the Roehl fleet is rated as one of the safest carriers in the nation by groups like the American Trucking Associations, the Truckload Carriers Association and other state and Federal organizations.
Tuition assistance programs range from full reimbursement for drivers accepted at Roehl to standard financial aid packages. “The affordable tuition and opportunity to get in with Roehl after graduation makes this a very attractive program,” said RDTC Director Brian Hammond. “We start by keeping tuition costs low and then add in a variety of tuition assistance programs,” Hammond added. One of the newest options available is free training for qualified military veterans through the Roehl Honor Program™, which rewards and recognizes military personnel for their service.
“The drivers coming out of RDTC already meet our high standards for safety, so they find an open door at Roehl, which means they have an inside track at one of the best driving jobs in the industry,” explained Greg Koepel, Roehl Vice President of Workforce Development and Administration.
