James Mike Davis Named SC&RA Truck Driver of the Year
(FAIRFAX, Va. – May 2, 2007) – James Mike Davis, Ace Doran Hauling & Rigging, Cincinnati, Ohio, was named Truck Driver of the Year during the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas, April 10-14.
He previously was honored as the National Safety Council's Safe Driver of the Year and the Ohio Driver of the Year. During his 44-year career, Davis has driven over 5 million miles. His last 3 million miles as a professional driver have been accident free.
"James Mike Davis is known for his businesslike approach to trucking and always holds safety as his number one priority," said SC&RA 2006-2007 President Doug Williams, "His peers describe him as nothing less than a safe, honest, courteous professional who always maintains his equipment in pristine condition and has never been cited for noncompliance. He simply gets the job done and, as his Safety Compliance Officer reports, he exudes character—what better qualities to represent our industry." Williams also noted that Davis was selected from a pool of very well qualified and deserving drivers.

The Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association (SC&RA) is an international trade association of more than 1,200 members from 46 nations.
