Truckers Raise Over $9,000 for

Big Brothers/Big Sisters

The 1 st Annual O&S Truckers’ Challenge benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of the Ozarks is in the books. The event was held as part of the BBBS signature fund raising event, Bowl For Kids’ Sake, on St Patrick’s Day at Battlefield Lanes in Springfield, MO. Twenty-one teams made up the challenge. Between participation donations, lane sponsorships, t-shirt sponsorships and giveaway prizes, the Challenge brought in approximately $9.350 which helped in reaching the Bowl for Kids’ Sake record setting total of $75,641.15.

The highest scoring team of the event, The Primates from Prime, Inc. won the Truckers Challenge Traveling Trophy and bragging rights for the year. M&M Truck Sales won the trophy in the Vendor Division and Ms. Whitney Creson of TCSI/Transland won the Top Fundraiser trophy, which featured a Good Stuff model truck. The Pin Violators from O&S Trucking, Inc. brought home the First Aid Kit for being the lowest scoring team. In the tradition of the Bowl for Kids’ Sake event, door prizes and contest prizes were handed out all afternoon.
