TMC Transportation honors Te Poel
with Quarterly Award
DES MOINES, Iowa, March 20, 2007 – TMC Transportation, a division of Annett Holdings, Inc., the largest privately-held flatbed carrier in the nation, honored TMC owner-operator John Te Poel with the Driver of the Fourth Quarter award for 2006.
Te Poel, an owner-operator who started driving for TMC in 1992, likes driving because he gets the freedom of being his own boss and going where he wants to go.
According to Collin Winter, Te Poel’s fleet manager, it is his commitment that shines through.
“John is willing to help out when needed to make sure the job gets done right the first time,” Winter said. “He is willing to help newer drivers by walking them through things to make sure they are doing it right, as well. John does an excellent job of communicating and letting us know if there’s anything out of the ordinary going on.”
Criteria for Driver of the Quarter recognition includes years of service with the company, safe driving record, excellent customer service, professionalism and overall quality performance.
