O & S Trucking, Inc. Celebrates 25 Years

2006 marked the 25 th anniversary for Springfield, MO based O&S Trucking, Inc. The associates of the company let the anniversary go by quietly with only a few congratulation e-mails to President and Co-Founder Jim O’Neal. However the company Quarterly Meeting to review 2006 had a couple of secret entries on the agenda.

O’Neal received quite a surprise as the stage of the Oasis filled with voices from his past. Associates Connie Grogran and Rose Kastrup organized the surprise 25 th Anniversary celebration for Jim and O&S that included a slideshow and a game of “This is your Life.”

The slideshow depicted the growth of the company Broker to Independent Contractor Fleet to the addition of Company Equipment to the entrance into the Refrigerated market and the addition of Auxiliary Power Units to the fleet. The O&S version of “This is your life” included guests such as Jim’s wife, Debbie O’Neal, sister Patty Schmidt, senior drivers from O&S, business associates and friends.

O & S Trucking, Inc. is an employee-owned, full service truck line based in Springfield, MO. The company hauls dry and temperature-controlled freight. The corporate fleet is comprised of Independent Contractors, including a Lease Purchase division and company owned equipment.
