Maverick Specialized Announces

Pay Raise for OTR Company Drivers

Maintaining their history of industry leadership, Maverick Specialized, a division of Maverick Transportation, LLC, announced a pay raise for current and potential drivers, effective January 28 th, 2007. “ This pay raise is being instituted to recognize Specialized drivers for the complexity of work performed in hauling industrial glass,” said Maverick Specialized Director of Operations Dave Cobb.

Under the new plan, Maverick Specialized will offer starting pay of $.40 - $.41 per mile for company drivers with experience and starting pay of $.37- $.40 cents per mile in both its student and trainee programs. This constitutes 1 to 2-cent per mile increase across the board. “Our goal is to offer the best driver compensation plan in the glass hauling business,” commented Maverick President Stephen Selig.

Along with the pay increase, Maverick Specialized will continue to offer an industry leading accessorial pay package including over dimensional, quarterly fuel bonus opportunities, detention pay, referral bonus, complete medical benefits, and more.
