Webster promoted to executive vice president at TMC Transportation
DES MOINES, Iowa, November 10, 2006 – Tom Webster was recently promoted to the position of executive vice president of customer service and carrier development for TMC Transportation.
In this position, Webster is responsible for the overall operation and administration of TMC’s customer service department and the Partner Carrier program. This program is dedicated to seeking out and partnering service-focused carriers with TMC’s customer base.

Webster’s main focus is to ensure TMC brings in an overabundance of loads in order to optimize all company trucks and owner-operators, as well as bring in the quantity of loads needed to dominate this industry through the Load Management Center.
Webster is a graduate of Drury University in Springfield, Mo., where he received a Bachelor of Science in communication, with an emphasis in human resource management. He has spent the last 22 years in Petroleum Distribution, International Package Distribution and International Irregular Route Flatbed Sales and Operations. He has been with TMC since September 2004, as vice president of the Load Management Center.
