Maverick Specialized Presented with

Glass Magazine’s 2006 Crystal Achievement Award

 

Maverick Specialized was recently presented with a 2006 Crystal Achievement Award from Glass Magazine, the official magazine of the National Glass Association . The company won in the Manufacturing and Fabrication category and was awarded for “Most Innovative Plant Equipment.”

Mike Weiss, Director of Research and Development for Maverick Specialized, accepted the award at the recent GlassBuild America Expo in Las Vegas.

Selected by a panel of 51 judges representing all segments of the industry, the awards recognize significant innovations and achievements in architectural glass technology, manufacturing, and marketing. The Crystal Achievement Awards saw a total of 114 entries.

Nancy Davis, editor-in-chief, Glass Magazine said, “Each of the nominations represented a top-quality project, and many of them will be described in future issues of Glass Magazine. We had excellent participation in this first award program for architectural glass and look forward to the future of the program.”
