Atlas Van Lines International awards top international movers
EVANSVILLE, Ind. - In November, Atlas Van Lines International will recognize its top agents that move goods internationally with awards in two categories: international sales and tonnage moved. The awards will be presented at the 59th annual Atlas Convention, held Nov. 1-4 in Phoenix, Ariz. "The logistical challenges of transporting goods internationally are very complex," said Jim Stamm, vice chairman, president and COO of Atlas World Group. "To succeed, these agents not only manage those challenges but also exceed customer expectations. We're proud to recognize them for that commitment." The agents who will receive the International Sales Award are: First place - Crofutt & Smith Moving & Storage, Landing, N.J. Second place - Walker Transfer, Inc., Kenova, W.Va. Agents qualify for these awards based on total sales revenue and tonnage shipped for the convention year, which runs from July 1 through June 30.
