A Call for Entries to the 1st Annual Rolling Steed Photography Exhibition and Competition Scranton, Penn – Many truck drivers are also very talented photographers who view people, places and things from unique vantage points atop their rolling metal steeds. Now it’s “Show Time”. KnightTime, Inc. and Layover.com are asking truck drivers to get their favorite photographs ready for the 1 st Annual Rolling Steed Photography Exhibition and Competition to be held at the 2 nd Annual Truckers’ Charity Ball on February 17 th, 2007 in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
This exhibition/competition is open to all truck drivers, international and national. Photographs will be traditionally exhibited at the Truckers’ Ball Main Gallery and through electronic display on a large screen. All work can also be viewed through the online edition of the Rolling Steed Photography Exhibit at www.layover.com. After the Ball, the Exhibit will be moved to a local art gallery for extended viewing.
Cash awards of $100.00, $50.00 and $25.00 are being given for the top three photographs. Dr. Michael Mirabito will provide initial jurying to identify the top twenty photographs. Ball attendees will then vote their favorites from these top twenty. Exhibitors may also donate their photographs to the Ball’s Silent Auction, which benefits the Teddy Bear Education and Emergency Assistance Fund for truckers.
Completed entry forms, up to three photographs with mat size of 11 x 14, an electronic submission of the photographs, and a $20.00 entry fee must be received no later than January 17 th, 2007.
