Maverick Transportation Presents Dale Dunn with 15 Year Safe Driving Award

Maverick Transportation recently presented driver Dale Dunn of Batesville, AR, with a 15 year Safe Driving Award. Dunn has been with Maverick for over 15 years and has received numerous awards from the Arkansas based flatbed carrier, including Driver of the Year honors and a Million Mile Safe Driving Award.

The award was presented to Dunn to reward and recognize 15 consecutive years of accident free driving. As a recipient of this award, Dunn was presented with a customized plaque and a leather jacket for his outstanding safety efforts.

“This is the type of award that only the most professional, safest drivers receive. It is truly an honor to have a driver like Dale Dunn to acknowledge,” said Vice President of Safety Dean Newell.

Dunn has also been recognized and honored in a variety of other ways throughout the years for his professional driving achievements. He is a regular competitor in the Arkansas Truck Driving Championships, earning four 1 st Place Champion awards and was named overall Grand Champion in 1999. That same year he was honored as Maverick’s Driver of the Year. In addition, Dunn served as a driver instructor for over 6 years and was twice honored as Maverick’s Driver of the Month.
