Atlas Van Lines awarded eighth straight Quest for Quality award
EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Atlas Van Lines has been named a Quest for Quality award winner by Logistics Management and Reed Research Group for the eighth consecutive year.
Atlas, one of only four carriers to be recognized in the household and high value goods category, received the distinction based on more than 2,000 votes by transportation buyers. Award winners were judged on their on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service, and equipment and operations.
"Winning eight straight quality awards - and nine in the past 10 years - is a testament to the hard work and excellence of our professional van operators, agents and employees," said Mike Shaffer, Atlas Chairman and CEO. Now in its 22nd year, the Quest for Quality award program is widely regarded as an important measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence in the transportation and logistics industry. Logistics Management published this year's award winners in the magazine's August issue, and a formal award presentation will take place at the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Conference in San Diego on Oct. 26.
