Hornady Transportation Announces New Home Time
and Pay Packages

Hornady Transportation understands family is important and can now
guarantee drivers home every weekend in a sizable portion of their line
haul hiring area without decreasing driver’s weekly average miles.

Besides more home time, the ceiling rate for the line haul fleet has
increased from 40 cents to 41 cents per mile plus drivers receive 1
cent per mile for tarping paid weekly and 1 cent per mile for safety
paid quarterly. The Regional pay package is also increasing. Starting
pay rates will be the same for a Regional or Line Haul driver, and
average miles for Line Haul are 2450 per week where the Regional
average miles are 1850 per week.

Hornady started a guaranteed minimum weekend mileage program for Line
Haul drivers. This guarantees drivers who are out over the weekend will
receive pay for the load miles or 700 miles, whichever is greater.

Coming soon is a voluntary Per Diem pay program that allows a driver to
reduce their tax burden thereby increasing their take home pay, and a
Lease Purchase program.
