Happy (and historic) New Year!

We’re just beginning a new year and already fully aware that 2009 will be historic. This month our country will inaugurate Barack Obama, marking the first time in history that an African-American will be our commander-in-chief.  Whomever you supported and voted for in the last election, now is the time for everyone to band together and do our part to keep strengthening our country and ourselves so our children inherit all of the opportunity and freedom that we have.
     There is still quite a bit of uncertainty in our industry, and a large number of questions have yet to find answers. One thing I know for certain, however, is the resiliency of our industry and that, no matter what the conditions, we keep on truckin’ so America does not stop.
     Over the past few weeks, I have had the pleasure of speaking to many of you to help answer questions about our free discount prescription card. I would like to share an e-mail we received earlier this month: “Our oldest son has asthma. His medication costs $150 a month This card will help give us wiggle room in our budget. We are so thankful to have it.”
