Welcome MATS

I know it’s hard to believe, but we’re moving right along in 2009 and already have the Mid-America Trucking Show in our sights! I attended my first MATS when I was 11 years old, and 22 years later, it still amazes me every time I go. I keep a pedometer on me, and I’m always pleased with how many miles I end up walking each day at the show. There’s a lot of ground to cover.
     It’s also a treat to meet so many of our readers who stop by our booth (#65024 in the West Wing at the front of the Ramp Recruitment Center) to say hello. We’ll have a great deal going on at our booth this year, so I hope you can spend a few minutes with us. Here are a few examples:
1. Come learn about the Healthy Trucking Association of America and how you can become a member.
2. Share your opinions with one of our writers – we’d love to hear what you have to say!
3. Check your blood pressure – we will have four kiosks available, all for free.
     While you’re in the Ramp Recruitment Center, be sure to visit the exhibiting trucking companies to see what opportunities are available and which ones fit your needs. Safe travels, and I’ll see you at the show!
