Getting ready for GATS

August already? It really is amazing sometimes to think how quickly time can pass you by. While this year has certainly been filled with several uncertainties surrounding the state of our overall economy, fuel and energy crises, etc., we still must look straight ahead and focus on the present and future.
For those of you who will attend the upcoming Great American Trucking Show in Dallas Aug. 21-23, excellent opportunities await. We have a special editorial feature on GATS in this issue (see page 34) that will give you a sneak preview of what to expect and help you plan your visit accordingly. As mentioned in our vision statement, we strive to be the communication link between people who drive trucks and people who want to do business with them. (Even if you can’t make it to the show, the information could prove beneficial to your future.)
If you do plan on attending the show, I hope you’ll stop by our booth (#19160) and say hello. One of my favorite parts of exhibiting at truck shows is the opportunity to meet our loyal readers in person. Please continue to provide us with your feedback; your opinion carries a great deal of weight in our decisions as to how we put our magazines together, and we appreciate it very much!
