Chris and Selena Horn - Hill Bros. Transportation

“When she asked me to teach her how to drive a truck, I looked up at the sky and said, ‘Thank you, God,’” Chris Horn says about the first time his wife, Selena, rode in a truck with him. “I couldn’t believe I’d found a woman I was in love with, AND she wanted to drive a truck.”
This husband and wife team has been driving together for six years and couldn’t be happier. Life is great both on the road and at home in Missouri.
In the trucking industry for 26 years, Chris has finally found complete contentment with his life and career. Credit his satisfaction to finding Selena, and their finding a driving career at Hill Bros. Transportation. “It just works,” says Selena. “Chris and I were meant to be together. Since the day we met, it’s like we’ve known each other our whole lives.”
After talking to this couple, you feel that their relationship with Hill Bros. was meant to be as well. Chris has encountered many different trucking companies during his time in the industry, as a driver and working the office side. He’s adamant that Hill Bros. is the best place he’s been and is the best deal you’ll find as an owner-operator team.  “They care about their drivers and treat us like a business partner,” Chris says.
Chris and Selena are not your average business partners; in fact, they are the kind of partners everyone dreams of having on their team. “We like to run a lot of miles,” Chris says.  “We’re not in the business to sit at truck stops. We’re in the business to make money.” Driving as many miles a week as the Horns do, they are making plenty of it at Hill Bros.
The Horns appreciate Hill Bros.’ consideration and respect for drivers. The couple can bring any issue to upper management, and they will not only listen, but also work to make things happen. “I’ve worked for a lot of companies who are not concerned about drivers at all,” says Chris. Husband and wife both agree that things are different at Hill Bros.
“They scratch our backs, and we scratch theirs,” says Selena. With a team as determined as the Horns, and a company as exceptional as Hill Bros., you have a partnership where everyone comes out on top.
Does Hill Bros. sound like a place meant for you? “It’s worth a phone call,” says Chris. “You’ll like what you hear.”
The staff of Over the Road and Pro Trucker magazines would like to wish Chris and Selena continued success with Hill Bros. Transportation.
