Tracking my wife

Dear GG—My company can track me and my truck down wherever I go, and I wanted to know if I gave my wife a GPS, could I track her down, too?
She claims that she works, but she’s always out of money, and I haven’t seen sign one of a paycheck with her name on it. I want to know if she’s really working, having an affair or just blowing my money on junk. I don’t even know how to access our bank accounts!

Dear Duck,
Clearly, trust and communication are issues in your marriage. You can’t afford a tracking system on any number of levels.
Sounds like you two need to gain a little empathy for what the other has to deal with when you’re apart. Stay home for a few days to reacquaint yourself with your wife and get a handle on your financial situation. Barring that the time home doesn’t lead to a divorce, offer to take her with you on the road for a week or so. You’ll both benefit from the time together…or not.
Do NOT approach your wife in a judgmental manner. Ask questions to help you understand where the money’s going. You might find out that she’s been saving money to buy you a new truck! You don’t know until you ask.
     Good luck!
     GG
